Role:

As a mental health nurse (RMN), you'll plan and deliver treatment for patients with a range of mental health conditions. Around one in four people in the UK will have a mental health illness at some point, which can affect their relationships, physical health, and ability to enjoy life - your role can include:

1. assessing and planning nursing care requirements.
2. organising workloads.
3. building relationships with, reassuring, and listening to and talking to patients.
4. combating stigma and helping patients and their families manage it.
5. administering medication.
