While the festive holiday period has enabled most of us to relax, and spend cherished time with our families, NHS nurses have not stopped working tirelessly and making a huge difference in people’s lives.

According to the NHS, “326,152 covid vaccinations – including over a quarter of a million booster or third doses – were reported over New Year’s Eve and the weekend thanks to NHS staff and volunteers.”

We are extremely proud, and grateful that Direct Healthcare nurses have been a part of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, which is the biggest, and most successful vaccination programme in NHS history.

Our nurses have been working in the vaccination centres all over the UK since the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started over 1 year ago, on the 8th of December in 2020.

We wanted to say a big thank you to our nurses for their service. Nurses, who have dedicated themselves in this tough pandemic time by working under pressure. Nurses, who worked throughout the festive period, who already made and are making a huge positive impact on the public of the UK.

Here at Direct Healthcare, we are always trying to ensure the best working conditions for our nurses and aiming to take as much pressure off your shoulders as possible. This includes flexible shifts, the most convenient locations, a variety of training for to further career development, top quality accommodation, the list goes on and on…

As a company, we are always looking for new ways on how we can help and improve your nursing career as we understand how hard it might get.

Thank you nurses for everything you do.
